Have you ever chanced upon a familiar face on the streets? One that rekindles nostalgic feelings of yester-year? The face of that someone symbiotic, that someone you were once inseperable from .. Be it the unblemished childhood memories where friendship, whilst unconscious and unarticulated, was the most fervent and genuine. where agendas, hypocrisy, superficiality were non existent. Or be it the relationship you left behind, one which so many sweet moments were shared and sweet nothings exchanged, a relationship forged using that one simple yet complicated element called love. One which was once thought to be able to last forever, one which was meant to be, supposed to be, but did not become.
Have you ever chanced upon that someone, so close to your heart, yet so distant in reality? The bittersweet feeling.....
Perhaps in life, we gain new friendships, relationships and eventually lose track of the old ones. Whether be it by choice or by the will of god, You see each other along the streets and your eyes speak of the once shared emotions pulsating in the form of synaptic waves merging your memories, as seemingly innocuous as it may be, speaks a thousand words in shattering your common past into, hyperbolically, a similar thousand pieces.

A pinch of history
Watched Red Cliff again tdy... rmb shixiong told me about the sun shangxiang story.. so went to take make a short search on it....
Sun ShangXiang is actually the sister of Sun Quan, Princess of East Wu, Candid and well versed in martial arts, but not yet as boyish and masculine as potrayed by zhao wei in the movie. Rather, she was charming enough for liu bei to fall madly in love with her.
After the battle of Red Cliff, Sun Quan allowed Liu bei to occupy the lands of Jingzhou to "recover" from the battles, Jingzhou which later became his stronghold due to its importance as a strategic military base was also the cause of rift between the 2 monarchies.
The story goes like this,
Liu bei got very much comfortable in Jingzhou and his rule was starting to take root in the area East Wu once reigned over. Seeing this, Zhou Yu demanded the return of JingZhou reasoning that Liu Bei had enough time to recover the strength of his army and should move on to establish his rule somewhere else. Liu Bei having found a place to consolidate his power and establish a monarchy, was of course unwilling to move. Therefore came up with various excuses, dragging the process. Zhou Yu having tried both ceorcion and persuasion but still failed to get Liu bei to move his ass.. was of course damn lan lan suck thumb. But he couldn't do anything about it because if he were to attack Liu Bei, it would give the powerful cao cao a chance to launch an attack against them.
Then came a turn of events, Liu Bei's wife died, and being the horny man he was, he was pretty upset having lost his of source emotional and physical satisfaction.
Zhou Yu, being the scheming, conniving 贱人. He came up with a self proclaimed foolproof plan to get back JingZhou.

Saw Mr Quek today.... he likes to go central mall.. wonder if rich people get as woozy going up the nv ending round about into the carpark... Opps.. forgot he got driver so he dun need go up carpark...
He was quite easy to recognize... not a good idea to drive such an exclusive car when you're so rich and famous... easy target for robbery *thoughts run through my mind... nvm... i'll be richer than you after striking toto 7692 times.
